On behalf of the government, the National Property Board manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.

The Stockholm East property area manages, among other things, the Natural History Museum, the Opera, Dramaten, the National Museum, the Krubban block, the Royal Library, and the Bergian Garden. Among our tenants are both state authorities and museums as well as private actors. Your role:
You will be part of a knowledgeable team consisting of operations technicians, technical managers, management assistants, property managers, and operations managers. You will plan and carry out ongoing work together with operations technicians and the operations manager. As a property caretaker, you will work with our various teams and property areas to ensure a high-quality environment and service for our tenants.

Your main tasks are:

  • Supervision and maintenance
  • Corrective property maintenance
  • Communication with tenants

In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues, contractors, and tenants. You will work with culturally historical buildings and therefore adhere to the specific requirements in the field.

Your profile
We are looking for someone who is a trained property caretaker or has equivalent education in operations technology.

  • Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good computer skills as the job includes work in various IT support
  • Driver's license (B).

It is an advantage if you have: Experience and interest in culturally historical properties, strong social skills, and experience from working in state operations.
